Police investigating wounding at Gold Coast
Police on the Gold Coast have taken a 14-year-old boy into custody after a stabbing at the Coomera Rail Station this afternoon.
It will be alleged the offender was with a group of youths when he began arguing with the 16-year-old victim. The boy allegedly produced a knife and stabbed the victim several times in the upper body and arm.
The victim was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital where he is being treated for serious stab wounds.
Police commenced a search for the offender and located him a short distance away at a shopping centre on Foxwell Road in Coomera where he was taken into custody without further incident.
