According to a media report on April 15, idol-turned-actor Park Hyung Sik is being courted to be part of tvN s upcoming drama Happiness.
On the same day, a legit source from Park Hyung Sik s home agency United Artists Agency confirmed that their actor is positively reviewing the drama offer.

If the 29-year-old accepts the role, he will portray the smart and charismatic character of Jung Yi Hyun, a violent crimes detective. He is a rising baseball player in high school, but due to an injury, he was forced to quit the sport that was very close to his heart.

Although the drama was made with 100% Korean investment, the scenes touched a nerve for many Koreans, who are growing wary of cultural appropriation by China and Chinese product placements in Korean dramas.
