The two boys were found safe by authorities in Florida on Wednesday, March 3 after an Amer Alert was issued for them earlier that day.

Woman Allegedly Kidnapped Her 2 Young Sons by Stealing Their Dad’s Car While They Were Inside: Deputies Alberto Luperon Shawntel Nicole Heck A woman is accused of kidnapping her two young sons in Louisiana, then bringing them to Florida. Shawntel Nicole Heck, 38, is currently being held as a fugitive at the Santa Rosa County Jail in the Sunshine State. Deputies with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana say Heck got a Good Samaritan to pick her up from the side of the road and to bring her to the home of the children’s father, according to WDSU. She stole the dad’s vehicle as he went to a shed to retrieve a tool. The kids, a 4- and 8-year-old, were in the car. Her alleged destination was her family home in Florida.

Tangipahoa Parish responders locate juvenile missing from Hammond campground Missing juvenile found near Hammond campground (Source: Hammond Fire Department) By FOX 8 Staff | March 7, 2021 at 9:12 PM CST - Updated March 7 at 11:20 PM HAMMOND (WVUE) - Tangipahoa Parish first responders have located a juvenile that was reported missing Sunday evening at Hidden Oaks Campground east of Hammond on Highway 190. A spokesperson from the Hammond Fire Department said that the missing juvenile was located by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office who helped retrieve the victim out of the woods with the use of utility task vehicles. The juvenile was then taken to a nearby hospital by Acadian Ambulance Services.
