Lone Star forward Johnson makes NCAA DI commitment

February 4, 2021 The Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Luke Johnson has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at Lake Superior State University. So far during the 2020-21 season, Johnson, 19, has recorded 21 points (12 goals, 9 assists) in 25 games played, which also includes a league-leading five game-winning goals. The 5’11/165 lbs. native of St. Cloud, MN, is 3 rd in team scoring and ranks in the Top 20 in NAHL scoring. “I’m honored to have received a scholarship to play Division 1 college hockey at Lake Superior State University,” said Johnson, regarding his commitment. “I would like to thank my family, parents, brother and adviser, as well as teammates and coaches.
