Face coverings will still be required for all individuals on public and private transportation (including rideshares, livery, taxi, ferries, MBTA, Commuter Rail and transportation stations), healthcare facilities and providers, congregate care settings and health and rehabilitative day services.
Face coverings will also remain required indoors for staff and students of K-12 schools and early education providers.

The Florida House gave tentative approval for nursing homes to substitute a new class of employees known a Personal Care Attendants for some of the duties of Certified Nursing Assistants Wednesday.
AARP and others argue the homes want to get by on the cheap to fill required hours of care, but the homes have said without PCA’s, meeting requirements for care will be almost impossible.
Before COVID, nursing homes were already facing staffing shortages.
“We have a workforce crisis. We need to bring more people into our buildings,” said Kristen Knapp with the Florida Health Care Association.

SALEM, Ore., April 16, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The Oregon Retirement Savings Board and State Treasurer Tobias Read today announced that OregonSaves is now available for SEIU-represented Homecare Workers. Homecare Workers and Personal Care Attendants provide home-based help and services to adults experiencing physical disabilities.
OregonSaves began with a pilot program in July 2017 and is expanding statewide in waves. The program now facilitates saving by than 105,000 workers most of them first-time savers and combined they have set aside more than $100 million toward retirement.
