Kenya recorded 241 positive Covid-19 cases on Monday bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 151,894. The cases were drawn from a sample size of 2,515 tested in the last 24 hours. Cumulative tests conducted so far are 1,605,847.
From the cases, 228 are Kenyans while 13 are foreigners. 135 are males and 106 are females. The youngest is a-seven-year-old child while the oldest is 90 years. The positivity rate is at 9.6%.
In terms of County distribution; Nairobi county registered 153, cases Meru 18, Uasin Gishu 14, Machakos 10, Kiambu 9, Nakuru 9, Mombasa 8, Nandi 6, Kitui 3, Bungoma 2, Kajiado 2, Nyandarua 2 while Kilifi, Murang’a , Nyeri, West Pokot and Kakamega recorded one case each.

241 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19, out of a sample size of 2,515 tested in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate also dropped to 9.6 percent - a significant improvement from a high of 22 percent cited by President Uhuru Kenyatta when announcing lockdown of five counties in March 2021.
The total number of confirmed positive Covid-19 cases now stands at 151,894 while the cumulative tests conducted so far are 1,605,847.
Of the cases announced today, 228 are Kenyans while 13 are foreigners, while 135 are male and 106 are female. The youngest is a seven-year- old infant while the oldest is 90- years old.
1,027 people have tested positive to Covid-19 on Saturday bringing the number of confirmed positive cases in the country to 151,287. Figure derived from a sample size of 7,184 tested. Country’s positivity rate is at 14.3%.
From the cases 1,009 are Kenyans while 18 are foreigners. 600 are males and 427 are females. The youngest is a two-month-old baby while the oldest is 110 years. Cumulative tests conducted in the country so far stands at 1,599,668.
20 deaths have been reported, 8 of the deaths having occurred on diverse dates within the last one month, while 12 are late deaths reported after conducting facility record audits. This now pushes the cumulative fatalities to 2,463.

366 individuals are reported to have tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday, April 18, in the last 24 hours out of a sample size of 3,664. The positivity rate now stands at 10.0 percent.
The total number of confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in Kenya now stands at 151,653. The cumulative tests that have been conducted so far now stand at 1,603,332.
Of the cases announced today, 354 are Kenyans while 12 are foreigners. 215 are male and 151 are female. The youngest is a three-months-old baby while the oldest is 86 years.
