The Office of the Economic Adviser, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade noted today that the rate of inflation, based on monthly Wholesale Price Index or WPI, stood at (2.03%) (provisional) for the month of January, 2021 (over January, 2020) as compared to 3.52% during the corresponding month of the previous year. The index for this Primary articles group declined by (-1.77%) to 143.9 (provisional) in January, 2021 from 146.5 (provisional) for the month of December, 2020. The index for Fuel and Power group increased by (5.84%) to 99.7 (provisional) in January, 2021 from 94.2 (provisional) for the month of December, 2020.
The index for Manufactured products group increased by (1.54%) to 124.9 (provisional) in January, 2021 from 123.0 (provisional) for the month of December, 2020. New Delhi [India], Jan 14 (ANI): The annual rate of inflation based on monthly wholesale price index (WPI) was 1.22 per cent in December as compared to 1.55 per cent in the previous month.
It was 2.76 per cent in December 2019. The decline last month was mainly due to lower increase in food prices, data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry showed on Thursday.
The food inflation for December dropped to 0.92 per cent as compared to 4.27 per cent in the previous month. The food index consisting of food articles from primary articles group and food product from manufactured products group has decreased from 158.9 in November 2020 to 154.4 in December 2020, said an official statement.
Industry s First: Oceaneering s 20.000-psi Equipment for Chevron s Anchor project

Schlumberger s OneSubsea has ordered the first-ever 20,000 psi-rated subsea hydraulic junction plates and associated connection hardware from Oceaneering, for deployment at Chevron s Anchor development in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
The hardware is destined for the first-ever 20,000 psi-rated fields to be developed in the Gulf of Mexico. A portion of the order has already been delivered to OneSubsea, Oceaneering said. Oceaneering will oversee the design, engineering, and production of the hydraulic connection hardware along with integrated flying lead assemblies and installation equipment.
In 2019,
OneSubsea won a contract from Chevron to provide an integrated subsea production and multiphase boosting system for the deepwater Anchor field in the US Gulf of Mexico.
Oceaneering Wins Connector Supply Contract From TechnipFMC
Oceaneering International, Inc. (Oceaneering) announced that the company has been awarded a connector supply contract from TechnipFMC to provide 2-inch M5 Connectors and Chemical Throttle Valves (CTV) for the Khaleesi/Mormont and Samurai tieback project located in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico (GoM).
The M5 connector provides an easy-to-install, fly-to-place connection solution that enables injection of gas or chemicals into subsea infrastructure and serves as an access point for future subsea field intervention activities such as gas lift, chemical injection, well stimulation, hydrate remediation, flooding and venting operations, acid injection and scale squeeze.
