Antitrust body approves Shell Bulgaria s acquisition of Litex Commerce s filling stations Shell Bulgaria/ All Rights Reserved
SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria s competition authority said on Tuesday it gave the green light to fuel retailer Shell Bulgaria to acquire four filling stations owned by local Litex Commerce but operating under the Shell brand.
The acquisition of the filling stations will not result in the establishment or strengthening of a dominant position on the local market, the Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) said in its decision published on the website of the antitrust authority.
The notified transaction does not lead to a change of the entity which currently controls the filling stations. Shell Bulgaria will continue to operate them already as an owner, the CPC noted.

SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria s competition authority said on Tuesday it granted approval to Polish insurance broker Unilink to buy a majority stake in Bulgaria s I&G Insurance Brokers.
Following the approval, the Polish company will acquire an 80% stake in the capital of I&G Insurance Brokers from Italy s Asigest Broker and private investors Nikolay Zdravkov and Nora Komitova, the Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) said in its decision.
The CPC noted that a market analysis of the transaction was not required as the combined turnover of all participants in the deal on the Bulgarian market did not exceed 25 million levs ($15.5 million/12.8 million euro) last year.
