Around 2 a.m., deputies got a call to the Haverstock Hills apartments on Aldine Bender near Lee.
Deputies say the mother called after her son got a gun and somehow, it went off and his 5-year-old sister was shot. Caller advises son was playing with gun and shot younger sister in the upper leg, a 911 dispatcher could be heard saying in Rangecast audio. Advised not to touch the weapon. The weapon is still supposed to be on the bed.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A 9-year-old boy accidentally shot his 15 year-old-brother in the leg with a gun while playing with it early Tuesday, Cincinnati police said.
Officers responded to a home in the 2000 block of Millvale Court near Beekman Street just after 12 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the mother of the children was at work and had put her 18-year-old daughter in charge of babysitting.
“Daughter goes to bed, you know, she knows the 9-year-old and the 15-year-old is ok inside the house,” CPD Commander Paul Broxterman said. “Well, the 14-year-old neighbor came over and he had brought a gun.”

SEDALIA, Mo. â Sedalia police say a 4-year-old boy died after he accidentally shot himself at his family s home.
The boy, Andre Walker, died after the shooting on Sunday night.
Sedalia police said the boy s parents told officers he somehow got ahold of a loaded handgun and shot himself.
Police Commander David Woolery said several people, including two other children, were in the house at the time.
Police say the investigation is continuing but no foul play is suspected.
