The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is , and this is what I intend to do about it. The single most pressing issue facing our board is rebuilding trust in the community. It is my absolute goal to create greater transparency into the municipal governance process. We will accomplish that by a more public-focused approach to issues. We will enhance our communication strategies to reach people more effectively. It is not enough to simply say the public is invited, we have to make them welcome and encourage greater engagement. It all starts from there. We will build trust. We will build community. I will always make myself accessible and be transparent in my thought process.

Park District Commissioner
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is , and this is what I intend to do about it. While we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 crisis, the most pressing issue facing our City that the Council can address is assisting our local businesses to recover from pandemic-related setbacks. I have been meeting with local business owners and listening to their concerns. They have shared with me some ideas as to possible solutions. If elected to serve as a councilwoman, I would cultivate those relationships and share what I learned with the Council and city s business development resources. This way we could work together to support our local business owners. This is the first step towards revitalizing our retail districts.
Orland Park Mayor - Present
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is , and this is what I intend to do about it.
Before I ran as an outsider to clean up our local government and get Orland Park moving in the right direction, career politicians had run our village for their own benefit. The village was careening towards a fiscal cliff with depleted reserves, an unbalanced budget, and out-of-control spending. Former Mayor Dan McLaughlin and his trustees had exploded our village s debt from $12 million in 1998 to $111 million in 2016. Over 40% of our roads were in poor condition after years of underinvestment. And the village was only investing in a single park every two years.
