A police investigation continues into a shooting in Bolton that left one man dead and another man injured on Monday afternoon.
The Caledon Detachment of the OPP are appealing for the public’s help for any and all information related to the January 18 incident, including security camera and dashcam footage, according to Constable Iryna Nebogatova.
Police were called to the area of Harvest Moon Drive at 12.26 p.m. Monday responding to a reported shooting.
“Upon arrival, officers located two male victims,” said the OPP on the day of the incident. “One has been pronounced deceased at the scene and the second victim was injured and transported to a hospital.”

The Festive R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) Campaign is a road safety initiative that has taken numerous impaired drivers off Caledon roadways as well as educated motorists about the dangers of driving impaired – by alcohol or drugs.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Festive R.I.D.E. Campaign ran from November 26, 2020 to January 3, 2021.
Officers from the Caledon Detachment of the OPP have:
Participated in 155 RIDE events;
Charged 18 drivers with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, and
Issued 10 warn-range (3, 7 or 30-day) driver’s licence suspensions.

On Monday, December 14, at approximately 6:37 p.m., officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported robbery and vehicle collision which had occurred in the area of Boston Mills Road and Chinguacousy Road in the Town of Caledon.
The police investigation revealed that that the robbery victim had met the suspect online and had then agreed to meet with the suspect at the roadside to sell them some items.
During the exchange, which took place inside the victim’s vehicle, the suspect pointed an imitation firearm at the victim in an attempt to rob them of the items. A brief physical altercation then ensued which resulted in the vehicle leaving the roadway. The suspect then fled the scene on foot and was later located and arrested by police in the area. An imitation firearm was recovered at the scene.

A 35-year-old man from Toronto has been arrested after police say he attempted to lure and have sex with an under age female.
On Nov. 27, Peel Police arrested and charged Mikail Moolla on five offences including
Making an Agreement or Arrangement to commit Sexual Assault on a Child and
Luring a Child to Commit Invitation to Sexual Touching.
Officers from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit were investigating after Moolla put out an online ad seeking sex with teenagers.
Between the dates of Nov. 16 and Nov. 27, police say he was communicating and arranging to have sex with a female that he believed was under the age of 16.

Between Nov. 16 and 27, the suspect made an online arrangement to have sex with a girl he believed to be under 16 years of age, investigators said.
The man used social media platforms under the personas, “Mik Maximus” and “Kinky Mik” associated with the email address kinkymikailus@gmail.com. He also used the username, “mikailusmax,” investigators said.
On Nov. 27, Mikail Moolla, 35, from Toronto, was charged with making an agreement or arrangement to commit sexual assault on a child, making an agreement or arrangement to commit sexual interference with a child, luring a child to commit sexual touching, luring a child to distribute sexually explicit material and breach of recognizance.
