Synopsis
The coupon rates of the NCD issue, which opens on July 12 and closes on July 23, are at 8.35-9% per annum, higher than banks’ fixed deposit rates of 5.5-6% on an average. While the product is a good bet for yield-hungry investors, the instrument carries higher risk as Piramal has a lower rating. The company is rated AA by CARE and ICRA.

These are unique stocks that get listed once in a while. A majority of people would want to participate in the growth story rather than look at valuations. At the higher end of the price band, the market cap to sales would be about 11-12 times. The company is yet to make profit at the net level.
