Unity bank debunks report, says board working harmoniously with MD

Unity bank has debunked reports that its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Oluwatomi Somefun, is at the risk of getting sacked following alleged sinking fortunes of the financial institution.
A news website (not Vanguard) reported that the bank’s board had lost confidence in the leadership of Somefun having allegedly failed to turn around the fortunes of the bank.
The bank in a reaction to the report said it has a cohesive board that is working harmoniously with the Executive Management team led by Mrs. Tomi Somefun (MD/CEO) to drive growth.
