NEW YORK, Jan. 25, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Seelos Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: SEEL), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of therapies for central nervous system disorders and rare diseases, announced today that it has commenced a proposed underwritten public offering of shares of common stock. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed or as to the actual size or terms of the offering. In addition, the Company intends to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the aggregate number of shares of common stock sold in the offering on the same terms and conditions to cover over-allotments, if any. All of the shares of common stock in the offering will be sold by Seelos.

60-year-old man jailed for assaulting Ikeja disco worker

An Ifo Magistrates’ Court has sentenced 60-year-old Bakare Buraimoh to six months’ imprisonment for assaulting a worker with Ikeja Electric.
It was gathered that Buraimoh, a resident of Isheri-Olofin, assaulted one Abiodun Fakoya attached to the Olowora branch of the electricity company.
The magistrate sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment with an option of fine of N100,000.
He ordered that the convict be remanded in the Ilaro Custodial Centre, Ogun State.
Reacting to the judgement, the Head of Corporate Communications, Ikeja Electric, Felix Ofulue, said the decision to seek redress in court was to stem the menace of attack on staff of the company, adding that he hoped it would serve as a deterrent to others.
