Derek Wolfe wanted to return to Baltimore and the Ravens wanted him back.
The two sides made it happen Tuesday, agreeing to terms on a three-year deal on the second day of open negotiations across the NFL. The deal is worth $12 million, per The Athletic s Jeff Zrebiec.
Wolfe signed a one-year deal with Baltimore last offseason and made it clear that he wanted to turn it into an extended stay. His play made it happen, as Wolfe was a strong piece of the Ravens defensive front.
Wolfe, 31, played in 14 games and made eight starts last season. He tied a career-high with 51 tackles. Though his sack production dropped to just one after logging seven the year prior in Denver, Wolfe helped set up his teammates and was a force against the run.
G Kevin Zeitler
The Ravens have strengthened their offensive line with a major move at the start of free agency.
Former New York Giants guard Kevin Zeitler and the Ravens have agreed to terms on a three-year contract, pending the passing of a physical. According to ESPN s Adam Schefter, the deal is worth $22.5 million with $16 million guaranteed.
The 31-year-old Zeitler was one of the top offensive linemen on the free-agent market, with nine years of experience as an NFL starter. A first-round draft choice (27th overall) with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2012, Zeitler started in Cincinnati for five seasons, then spent two seasons with the Cleveland Browns (2017-18) before being traded to the Giants in 2018.

The progress of left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle), tight end Nick Boyle (knee) and cornerback Tavon Young (knee) are important to monitor this offseason, and Head Coach John Harbaugh gave the latest updates during Tuesday’s press conference.
“All three of those guys, I would say, are on track for at least training camp,” Harbaugh said. “I can’t give you timeframes. I haven’t really asked that question too specifically, but I think that OTAs [organized team activities] are not out of the question, either.”
Harbaugh revealed that Stanley had two surgeries to repair his ankle injury, which occurred on Nov. 1 – just two days after he signed a mega extension.
