UPDATE: On Monday night, police updated the situation to a homicide investigation. At this time, it does not appear there is a danger to the community and this is not believed to be a random act according to a release from the Inver Grove Heights Police Department.
Police are investigating after a man was found dead in Inver Grove Heights on Monday.
According to Inver Grove Heights Police, officers were called to the 1300 block of 60th Street West at about 8 a.m. on a report of a suspicious incident. There, officers found a man lying in a snowbank on the south side of the road. Police said the man was unresponsive and pronounced dead.
