Monster Hunter Rise. For the latter, Capcom showed off the game’s first major update, featuring a variety of new content arriving later today (April 28 in Japan). As previously announced, the ver. 2.0 update for
Monster Hunter Rise brings three returning monsters the Chameleos, Kushala Daora, and Teostra in addition to Apex versions of the Diablos and Rathalos.
More excitingly, Capcom has announced that the Apex creatures, which were previously exclusive to Rampage Quests, will be available to hunt outside of this gameplay mode. New quests are also arriving for both single player and multiplayer, with the Hunter Rank cap being removed. If you are like me and have completed most of the launch content, this update is definitely something to be looking forward to. While the meat of the ver. 2.0
Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin are looking like two vastly different experiences within the Monster Hunter universe. The latter, set to launch in July 2021, will give players a unique story in which they’ll befriend and battle beside many of the iconic wyverns throughout the game, instead of just hunting them for parts. However, that doesn’t mean the two games won’t be connected. If you have a Monster Hunter Rise save file when you get your hands on Wings of Ruin, you’re in for a reward.

For the previous month, Capcom has been teasing Chameleos for the Monster Hunter Rise Version 2.0 Free Title Update. However, Chameleos wasn’t arriving solo. Capcom also teased further monsters coming to the hunt, and while variants of existing monsters could have been expected, a couple returning beasts are about to increase the intensity of the game immensely. The next update for Watch Dogs: Legion, Title Update 4.0, has been pushed back until early May. The update was initially slated for a release late this month, but with less than a week to go, it’s been moved to allow for a smoother launch.
This is the first major update for Watch Dogs: Legion in 2021. It adds a brand new character, Mina Sidhu, who has genetically altered abilities and her own storyline to follow. In addition, Watch Dogs: Legion online will get new Assignments, Co-op Missions, NPCs to recruit, and character customization options.
