Work on FUT mode
EA Sports has announced that maintenance is being done to several FIFA games including the recently released FIFA 21. You won’t be able to access the FUT mode fully while this is happening.
Aside from FIFA 21, FIFA 20, FIFA 19, FIFA 18, FIFA 17, FIFA 16 and FIFA 15 will all be impacted by this sudden maintenance. You don’t have to worry too much because the maintenance is going to only last for around 1 hour.

We have scheduled maintenance coming up on July 16, from 4:30 AM to 5:30 AM UTC. During this time, you may be disconnected or unable to connect to FUT. Update 17.1 has arrived for
FIFA 21, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.
EA Sports has notified players that a new update for FIFA 21 should be rolling out very soon for some people that own the game. It looks like the new patch being released is update 17.1 and it’s only coming out for the PS5 version of the game.
It appears this new update is a small patch that will allow people to be linked to the PlayStation Store in-game. Only PS5 players were affected, so it looks like this issue isn’t a problem for those that own the game on the older PS4 console.
