PESHAWAR: Provincial Minister for Social Welfare, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr Hisham Inamullah Khan said that the government introduced various development projects including construction of sports Complex for Lakki City and establishment of a separate Gymnasium for women.
He said this while addressing the presentation ceremony on the occasion of cricket final of Jashan Shafqatullah Khan Cricket Tournament held at Lakki City here on Sunday.
The KP Minister Dr Hisham Inamullah Khan said that by the grace of Almighty Allah, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government led by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan is paying special attention to the sports sector as well as various other sectors to resolve the problems being faced by the people.
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has directed the concerned quarters to start physical work on the proposed project of new bus terminal in Peshawar and to complete all.

Govt to introduce modern technology in all hospitals: CM KP
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan says the government is working on a comprehensive plan to introduce modern technology and provide latest medical equipment in all major hospitals of the province.
Talking to a delegation of Mardan in Peshawar on Sunday, he said pragmatic steps are underway to strengthen health sector in the entire province including rural areas to reduce the burden of patients on big hospitals.
Mahmood Khan said provision of quality health care services to the public is priority of the government.

IG FC North meets CM Mahmood Khan

PESHAWAR: Newly posted Inspector General of Frontier Corps (North), Major General Adil Yamin called on Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan at CM House here on Friday.
During the meeting, the chief minister lauded the role of Frontier Corps in restoring durable peace in the merged districts. Matters related to the overall security situation in the province with special focus on the newly merged areas also came under discussion.
Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said that the security forces including Frontier Corps have rendered unprecedented sacrifices in the war against terrorism, which the entire nation feels proud adding that today the nation owes peace due to the sacrifices of security forces.
