Panaji (Goa) [India], May 14 (ANI): Goa Forward Party (GFP) on Thursday filed a complaint with the police against Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, Chief Secretary Parimal Rai and nodal officer for oxygen allocation to hospitals Swetika Sachan for causing deaths of several COVID-19 patients due to interrupted supply of oxygen in Goa Medical College Hospital .
GFP Employees Forward convenor John Nazareth filed the complaint at Agacaim police station under Sections 336, 337, 338 and 304(A) read with Section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Margao (Goa) [India], May 8 (ANI): Goa Leader of Opposition (LoP) Digambar Kamat on Friday sought clarification from Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for promising to supply oxygen to neighbouring Maharashtra when the BJP government is unable to address the shortage of life-saving gas in the state.
In an official statement, he said, It is once again clear that the insensitive and irresponsible BJP government has no concern for goans. The Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant promises to supply oxygen to neighbouring states like Maharashtra when Goa itself is facing shortage.

Panjim (Goa) [India], May 7 (ANI): In view of the rapid surge in COVID-19 infection, the Goa government on Friday imposed a two-week curfew in the state from May 9 till May 23.
Announcing the curfew, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Friday said essential services will be allowed to function in the state. State-level curfew to be imposed in Goa from May 9 till May 23. Essential services including medical supplies will be allowed. Grocery shops are allowed to remain open from 7 am to 1 pm, while restaurant takeaway orders will be allowed from 7 am to 7 pm. A detailed order will be released tomorrow, Dr Sawant said.
