NT clinical advice has not changed as Howard Springs cases drop 04/05/2021|4min
Chief Minister Michael Gunner has confirmed the “clinical advice” remains the same for the Northern Territory in relation to repatriation flights from India despite a downward trend in infections in the Howard Springs quarantine facility.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison today flagged the travel ban would be reviewed before May 15.
Mr Gunner announced there were now about 35 active cases in the NT but said “at this stage … the clinical advice to me hasn’t changed, we’ve still got time before the 15th.”
“It’s critical that we help returning Australians home from India, I just have to make sure obviously that we’re not putting the Territory health system at risk with that case load,” he said.
