A FEMALE worker was stabbed after approaching a customer and asking if she could help at a store in Cheshire this morning. Police are now appealing for information from the public after the attack at about 6.05am today (Friday, January 8). The victim, a 49-year-old woman, was working at Premier Store on Shady Grove, Alsager, when she noticed a customer who was looking in the fridge. The woman approached the man and asked if she could help, at which point she was stabbed in the abdomen. The offender then fled the scene on foot. The offender is described as a white man and of medium build. He was wearing a dark Adidas hoodie, grey Adidas pants and black and yellow trainers.
