Man dies and another fighting for life in hospital as cops launch investigation A man has died and another is fighting for his life after being injured in a Clydebank home last night. Cops were called to a property in Perth Crescent around 12.05am on Monday after two men were seriously injured. They were both taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where one of them, aged 25, died a short time later. His death is being treated as suspicious. The other man, aged 34, remains in hospital in critical condition. Detective Chief Inspector Alan McAlpine of the Major Investigation Teams said: “Officers are in the area speaking to neighbours and checking CCTV to try and establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and who was involved.
Emergency services attended and both men were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The 25-year-old man was pronounced dead a short time later, said police. Hospital staff described the 34-year-old s condition as critical . A post mortem examination will take place to determine the exact cause of the 25-year-old s death. The scene remains taped off as police continue their enquiries.
