Malgorzata Jarecka was reported missing around 6.45pm on Wednesday after she was not at her home as expected, with concerns raised for her welfare. Police have said that the 32-year-old is believed to have been near to Bournemouth train station with her one-year-old son at around 9.30am on Tuesday 13 April 2021.

Man charged with murder over death at Bournemouth Travelodge

A MAN has been charged with murder following the death of a woman at a Bournemouth Hotel. Police were called to the Travelodge just after 8am on Wednesday, December 9, last year, following reports a woman had been found dead. The victim, who died of multiple blunt force head injuries, was named as 27-year-old Marta Vento, a Spanish national who was living in Bournemouthb and working as a receptionist at the Christchurch Road hotel. Stephen Cole, aged 32, from Bournemouth, was arrested on suspicion of murder. Following an assessment by mental health professionals, he was detained under section 2 of the Mental Health Act and placed into the care of mental health services.

As reported, Dorset Police was called at 8.01am on Wednesday December 9 to a report that a woman, aged in her 20s, had been found dead at the Travelodge hotel in Christchurch Road. The victim was working as a receptionist at the hotel. A 32-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of murder. And providing an update on January 28, a spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “The suspect continues to be detained under the Mental Health Act and our investigation is ongoing.”
