The 16-year-old was taken to hospital where he is currently refusing to co-operate with police

The teenager was reportedly shot outside a house on Oaklee Grove in Kirkby (Image: Google Street View) A schoolboy was reportedly shot in the street in Kirkby by two gunmen on the back of a scrambler bike.
It is believed the teenager was outside a house on Oaklee Grove at around 5.40pm on Monday, April 26, when he was approached by two men riding a scrambler or motorbike, who discharged a shotgun.
The 16-year-old was rushed to hospital with an injury to the back of his leg, which is not believed to be life threatening.

A gun thug shot at a house and then was involved in a bizarre cheesecake factory roof stand-off days later. Michael O’Grady was behind a bullet being discharged at a property on Culme Road, West Derby, on Halloween morning.
Police officers arrived at the scene at 11.45am, on October 31, last year, and found damage to the address.
