A former friend of suspected double-murderer Daniel Boulton said he is now dead to me after trying to get him the help he needed.
The close friend says he had tried everything he could to get Boulton help but had failed.
Boulton was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the fatal stabbings of Bethany Vincent, 26, and Darren Henson, 9, at their home on High Holme Road in Louth.
Daniel Boulton, 29, was arrested at a farm at lunchtime on Tuesday after an off-duty officer was stabbed at a nearby country park. Bethany Vincent, 26, and her son Darren Henson, nine, died.

Double murder suspect Daniel Boulton has been arrested following a major manhunt involving armed police. The 29-year-old was found in Hubbard’s Hills in Louth after a dramatic search involving armed police, helicopters and dog units. He was wanted in connection with the murder of a 26-year-old mum and her nine-year-old son in Louth last night. He was also arrested for the wounding of a police officer in Hubbard’s Hills as officers tracked him down.
