CCTV released of officers inside police station under attack during Bristol riot

By Press Association 2021 Protesters on a roof throw objects down at police outside Bridewell Police Station CCTV footage has been released showing officers inside a police station under attack during a riot in Bristol. A total of 42 people have been arrested, with a 14-year-old boy also attending a voluntary interview, in connection with the incident which followed a peaceful Kill the Bill protest in the city. The riot, on March 21, saw around 500 people march on Bridewell police station, set fire to police vehicles and attack the station. Avon and Somerset Police said on Tuesday that 44 officers were assaulted during the incident, with 39 sustaining injuries as a result.
