16-year-old terror suspect from Swindon released without charge

A 16-year-old in Swindon who was among five people arrested by police on suspicion of terrorism offences has been released without charge. Officers from Counter Terrorism Policing North East confirmed they have been granted a warrant of further detention to continue questioning the four other suspects arrested on May 1 on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation, or instigation of acts of terrorism. The son of a counter-terrorism officer who became a one-man propaganda machine for a neo-Nazi group calling for the death of a chief constable was jailed for four years yesterday. Luke Hunter was described as a white supremacist influencer , promoting racial hatred and mass murder online to hundreds of followers. The 23-year-old, whose father was a former Scotland Yard counter-terrorism officer, was affiliated with a now banned terrorist organisation called the Feuerkrieg Division (FKD).
