Doha: The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) has announced the entities that won Qatar Digital Government Excellence Awards at a ceremony attended by the Minister of Transport and Communications H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti and several senior officials from the government sector.
The event also featured the graduation of new batches of Qatar Digital Government Training Program (QDGTP), stemming from Qatar Digital Government Strategy. The Minister honored the second batch, 17 graduates, of the Chief Technology Officers (CTO) Training Program and the third batch, 28 graduates, of the IT Talent
Ministry of Interior wins digital excellence gold award for Metrash2 app

The Ministry of Interior won the Gold Award for Metrash2 app. This award is given to the best government digital application for smart devices in terms of content, service, usage, design, functionality, app access, and user experience. This was announced during a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications on Monday in Doha along with Qatar Digital Excellence Awards in the government sector. The event was attended by Minister of Transport and Communications HE Jassim Saif Al Sulaiti, and a number of senior government officials. The award for the Ministry of Interior was received by Brigadier Abdul Rahman Ali Al Farahid Al Maliki, Assistant Director General of Information Systems.
