THE HSE HAS received information that the National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) has considered using the AstraZeneca and J&J vaccines in people aged 40-49, with strict conditions attached.
People aged in their 40s are expected to be given the option of receiving an AstraZeneca or J&J vaccine, or wait for an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna),
Britain s ex-GCHQ chief has urged the government to ban ransomware payments to stop criminals profiteering from attacks.
Ciaran Martin, the founding chief executive of GCHQ s Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), spoke after the Irish health service was targeted by international criminals yesterday.
