RYANAIR S chief has called on NPHET to stop daily doses of misery as he raged at their mismanagement, misadvising and failure .
Michael O Leary saw red as he lashed out at health officials, in particular Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan, for misleading the country into its third lockdown.

Speaking to Newstalk this morning, Mr O Leary stressed that NPHET have a duty to see that Ireland s vaccination is rolled out more quickly and efficiently.
The airline CEO told how vaccinations are the way out and called for vaccination numbers to be announced daily instead of deaths and hospitalisations.
Between December 22 and January 14, there have been 2,191 passengers arriving in Ireland from Brazil, and 797 from South Africa. A further 247 arrived from other South American countries.
In the same period, there have been 84,228 passengers arriving from European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) countries. There were also 6,303 arrivals from the UK and an additional 14,350 from other countries.
To date, nine cases of the South African strain have been announced by the National Public Health Emergency Team (Nphet). There have been no confirmed cases from Brazil as of yet.
On Monday, the Chief Medical Officer said the NVRL tested 58 specimens for the variants from Brazil and South Africa.
Passengers will have to pay for their own stay in quarantine hotels which may be policed by security firms under plans being discussed by the Cabinet Committee on Covid-19.
The ages of those who died range from 43 to 98.
710 of today s cases are in Dublin, while 150 are in Cork, 103 are in Meath, 102 are in Limerick, and 86 are in Louth. The remainder are spread across the rest of the country.
As of this afternoon, there are 1,892 people with Covid in hospitals across the country, with 217 of them in Intensive Care Units.
Speaking of these figures, Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan said: Through the solidarity shown by families and communities across the country in recent weeks, we are beginning to flatten the curve of Covid-19 infection. We can only continue this by continuing to stay at home and avoid meeting or mixing with others in our social circle, including for any close family gatherings, such as birthdays or funerals, as these can be ‘super-spreader’ events.
