Winter weather advisory for SE WI now active through noon Friday

MILWAUKEE - The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for all of southeast Wisconsin. Read the complete FOX6 Weather forecast.
The advisory will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the following counties: Dodge County, Fond Du Lac County, Jefferson County, Walworth County, Washington County, Waukesha County.
The advisory will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the following: Kenosha County, Milwaukee County, Ozaukee County, Racine County, Sheboygan County.

A winter storm is moving in tonight. Expect moderate to heavy snow and gusty winds. The storm warps up on Sunday afternoon with several inches of new snowfall expected.
This evening through Sunday, Jan. 31, 4-8 of widespread snow is possible, most of southeast Wisconsin will be within that range when it s all said and done. Areas along the lake have the potential for 8-10 if adequate lake enhancement occurs.
Southeastern Wisconsin will be under a Winter Storm Warning from 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31 as heaving snow will reduce visibility and cause dangerous travel conditions.
