Export credit agencies of UAE, India join hands to boost trade
29 Dec 2020 New agreement to give a boost to companies and exporters in the UAE and India to enhance their ties. Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI), the UAE Federal export credit company, has partnered with ECGC Limited (ECGC), the premier export credit agency of India, to explore and bolster the trade and economic cooperation between the UAE and India.
In a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Massimo Falcioni, CEO of ECI and M Senthilnathan, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of ECGC, the two agencies are set to collaborate and create prospects for mutual strategic projects, as well as offer a platform to identify new business opportunities and develop new partnerships in the UAE and India.

Jammu, Dec 24: Lt Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh, R K Mathur today called on Union Home Minister, Amit Shah in New Delhi and discussed issues related to situation along the LAC and over all security scenario in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Official sources told the ‘Excelsior’ that during meeting, the Lt Governor discussed various issues related to the development of the area and other recent developments in the UT of Ladakh with the Home Minister. Shah inquired about the progress in other ongoing development projects in the newly created UT of Ladakh and overall security scenario in the cold desert region.
Vizag Steel commissions Rs 2500 crore coke oven battery

Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, has achieved a milestone by commissioning the fifth coke oven battery.
A coke oven battery consists of multiple ovens wherein coal is crushed and blended before being charged in an oven.
India’s shore-based integrated steel plant popular under the brand name of Vizag Steel, formally commissioned the coke oven battery No.5 (COB5) with the first coke pushing done by P K Rath, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of RINL, in the presence of Atul Bhatt, CMD, MECON.

The Board of directors of Satia Industries Ltd in its meeting held today i.e. December 21, considered, approved and authorized Dr Ajay Satia, Chairman Cum Managing Director to make the bid for acquisition of Ballarpur Industries Limited which is under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP).
The board authorized Dr Ajay Satia CMD and Sh Rajinder Kumar Bhandari, Joint Managing Director to negotiate and issue the appointment letter to Price Waterhouse Cooper private limited (PWC) as advisor to assist the Company for acquisition of Ballarpur Industries Limited under (CIRP).
