The province has amended its vaccine delivery plan, allowing for first responders including police, firefighters and public health inspectors to receive COVID-19 shots via mobile vaccination units.

Saskatchewan is once again limiting all indoor private gatherings to members of immediate households only as the province’s COVID-19 caseload takes a turn for the worse.
The reversal comes just over a month after Premier Scott Moe relaxed public health orders and allowed private gathering of up to 10 people to meet under one roof. Since then, Regina has become a national hotspot for a more virulent, deadly strain of COVID-19 that has since spread to Saskatoon, Weyburn, Moose Jaw and Estevan, among other communities.

The soft-spoken, social-activist-family-doctor-turned-politician has publicly described Premier Scott Moe as “the best ally of COVID-19” and called him incompetent and/or bad at his job on at least half a dozen occasions since Tuesday’s budget about every chance he’s gotten to do so. When asked about his tone and tenor, Meili simply stated: “I’m pissed off.”
