PNS NASR arrives at Karachi Port

Pakistan NavyShip NASR arrived at Karachi Port after completing three months long successful Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Mission to African countries.
During the deployment to African continent, PNS NASR delivered 1000 tons of rice as gift from people of Pakistan at Djibouti, Sudan, Benin and Niger.
The Ship also undertook goodwill visit to Mombasa, Kenya. The HADR mission was planned after Niger was hit by flash floods and drought in 2020, causing widespread devastation.
During port calls, the Ship was extended warm welcome by the higher authorities of host navies. As a gesture of goodwill and humanitarian support, food aid was handed over to the local authorities of Djibouti, Sudan, Benin and Niger.

KARACHI: The guns boomed and the band struck high notes as the flags of over 45 countries were hoisted at the Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works, formally inaugurating the multinational naval exercise AMAN 21 on Friday. It was quite an impressive sight to watch the smartly turned-out PN contingent slowly marching, guard of honour style, with outstretched arms bearing flags of participating countries towards the individual flag posts. As the Pakistan’s national anthem echoed at the flag hoisting, a fiesta of red, green, blue, browns, pink, orange and purple flares rose in the sky amidst crackling, thundering fireworks, instantly transforming the blue, sunny morning landscape into a kaleidoscope of colour.

ISLAMABAD/KARACHI: Forty-five countries have joined Pakistan’s Aman-21 maritime exercise which President Arif Alvi said is once again a demonstration of the country’s commitment to global cooperation.
On Twitter, the President said the naval exercise, was in line with the Government of Pakistan’s vision for regional peace and stability. “Congrats all participants on being part of this flagship event,” the President said.
Commander Pakistan Fleet Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf said around 45 countries have gathered for Aman-21, with one commitment of making seas safer for positive human activities, as the increasing number of participants reflects growing trust in the value of the exercise.

KARACHI, Pakistan: Around 45 Countries will participate in the upcoming 7th Multinational Maritime Exercise “AMAN-21” in Karachi.
Briefing the media persons in Karachi on Monday, the Commander Pakistan fleet Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf said that the exercise will provide a common platform for sharing of information, mutual understanding, and highlighting common naval interests.
Commander Pakistan fleet said that Pakistan Navy has been conducting Aman exercise since 2007 with a slogan ‘Together for Peace’.
Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf said that the Aman exercise reflects commitment against multilateral threats and the promotion of regional harmony and mutual cooperation.
