NJPW’s FinJuice are taking the Impact tag titles to Japan

History was made at Impact’s
Sacrifice special event. Rich Swann defeated Moose to unify the Impact World Championship and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and the outside tag team of FinJuice from NJPW pulled the upset to win the Impact World Tag Team Championship from the Good Brothers. Now, Impact is dealing with the fallout.
One piece of that fallout is what happens when an outside tag team wins Impact gold but has to leave overseas to work in another wrestling promotion. That happens to be the case for the new champs, David Finlay and Juice Robinson.

Tonight on
Impact Wrestling, it was announced that New Japan stars FinJuice (Juice Robinson and David Finlay) will defend their newly won Impact World Tag Team Championships in a rematch against The Good Brothers (Doc Gallow and Karl Anderson) at
Rebellion on Saturday, April 24.
Just this past Saturday at
Sacrifice, FinJuice stunned everyone, including The Good Brothers, when they dethroned the former champions with a Doomsday Device on Anderson. Now, The Good Brothers will have to wait a month for their grudge rematch.
Right now, Robinson and Finlay are participating in the NJPW New Japan Cup, where the winner will receive an opportunity to challenge Kota Ibushi for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Currently, Finlay is in the quarter-finals of the Tournament. He will face “Switchblade” Jay White this Thursday.

A tag team from New Japan Pro-Wrestling now holds the Impact tag titles in their possession. David Finlay and Juice Robinson came, they saw, and they conquered the Good Brothers to win Impact gold.
FinJuice came to Impact looking to make a statement and earn respect across the industry. They planned to achieve such a goal by challenging the Good Brothers at
Sacrifice (Mar. 13, 2021).
The power of Luke Gallows was the difference maker early as the Good Brothers worked to wear down Finlay. The hot tag made its way to Robinson, but Karl Anderson was too smart. Machine Gun dodged a running cannonball in the corner then tagged in Big LG. Gallows pulled his straps down and jiggled his pecs as a show of force. He flattened Robinson with a head kick, but Robinson stayed alive on the cover by getting his shoulder up.
