Powell s Impact Wrestling Rebellion Hit List: AEW Champion Kenny Omega vs Impact World Champion Rich Swann in a title vs title match, Ace Austin vs TJP vs Josh Alexander in a three-way for the X Division Championship, Sami Callihan vs Trey Miguel in a Last Man Standing match

Impact Wrestling Hits AEW Champion Kenny Omega vs. Impact World Champion Rich Swann in a title vs. title match: This was the most anti-TNA match ever and I mean that as a compliment. TNA was notorious for delivering terrible finishes to big pay-per-view matches. This was among the biggest matches in company history, and while it had all the makings for a cheap finish with five wrestlers at ringside, an AEW posse behind the barricade, two referees, a ref bump, and multiple world titles on the line, Impact made good on its promise that one man would leave with both championships. Best of all, they did it with a perfectly clean finish and no nonsense. The match lived up to my lofty expectations aside from a couple of hiccups while both men were simultaneously on the ropes setting up for ambitious moves. And the great thing about the clean finish with Omega going over is that it generates additional interest in terms of where things go next between the two companies.

Impact Wrestling:The True Forbidden Door Author: Feb 16, 2021 Since December 2nd, 2020 when Kenny Omega won the AEW World Title from then champion Jon Moxley borders in professional wrestling began to open. This kicked off the partnership between AEW and IMPACT. We then saw Kenny make his debut on IMPACT and even teamed up with The Good Brothers to defeat Chris Sabin, Moose, and Impact World Champion Rich Swann in the main event of Hard to Kill on January 12th.  Kenny Omega wasn t the only talent to make their way to the IMPACT Zone as stars such as Hardy Party(Matt Hardy and Private Party), Tony Khan, and Jerry Lynn have all shown up. Most recently though we have seen quarrels between AEW and NJPW talent as KENTA and Mox have reignited their feud for the IWGP US Title.

Powell s Impact Wrestling Hit List: Rich Swann and Tommy Dreamer contract signing, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson vs James Storm and Chris Sabin for the Impact Tag Titles, Trey Miguel, Willie Mack, Josh Alexander, and Suicide vs Ace Austin, Chris Bey, Shawn Daivari, and Blake Christian

Impact Wrestling Hits “The Good Brothers” Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. James Storm and Chris Sabin for the Impact Tag Titles: It was fun while it lasted. The DQ finish was underwhelming in the moment, but it was a logical way to add Storm and Sabin to the tag title match at No Surrender. Trey Miguel, Willie Mack, Josh Alexander, and Suicide vs. Ace Austin, Chris Bey, Shawn Daivari, and Blake Christian: A strong spot fest style opening match that previews the new Triple Threat concept match that will debut at Saturday’s No Surrender event. Miguel was the right person to go over since he’s just returning to Impact and flying solo after Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz signed with WWE. The post match promo from Sami Callihan was another step in establishing his fresh feud with Miguel.
