This past Tuesday, February 2, marked the 8
th anniversary of the sad passing of our dearly beloved Winston Derrick, one of the founders of
Observer Media Group cum
NEWSCO. It was a time for deep reflection and the sharing of fond memories. Some told of Winston’s brash, unstudied, roguish charm. Others shared fascinating tales of his wry, sardonic wit. He was possessed of a wonderful sense of humour, embellished by his larger-than-life personality; a magnetic presence that filled a room. Everyone spoke of his deep and abiding love for Antigua and Barbuda.
