It took some convincing for Tiffany Haddish to start dating her boyfriend, Common. The 48-year-old rapper, whose real name is Lonnie Rashid Lynn, pursued his lady love long before they started dating.
During an appearance on
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Haddish corrected host Colbert when he referred to Common as Haddish s boyfriend. He s not my boyfriend, he s my
man, she joked. I don t date boys no more. I date men. He s my man.
When the married late-night host asked why she d previously rejected Common s advances, Haddish joked, I was waiting for you, Steve. I was waiting for you to get single.

Billboard late last year following the nomination reveal, she’s particularly excited to be in the same class as artists she loves, like Chika and Megan Thee Stallion: “I feel like [Megan] turned positivity into being punk rock, you know?” Additionally, Bridgers is up for best alternative album, and best rock song and best rock performance for her impassioned single “Kyoto.”

âFight for Youâ was nominated for Best Original Song â Motion Picture at the 2021 Golden Globes earlier this week. The studio version of the track is produced by H.E.R. and Dernst âDâMileâ Emile II; H.E.R. also co-wrote the song with Emile and Tiara Thomas.
This Sunday, H.E.R. will sing âAmerica the Beautifulâ at Super Bowl LV.
