WT Architecture has built a linear house alongside Loch Tummel in the Scottish Highlands.
Partially buried in the landscape, the three-storey home emerges from a ruined walled garden to directly face the loch.
According to the architect it was designed to enhance the surrounding scenic landscape, rather than hide within it.

It is nevertheless a self-consciously picturesque house, not trying to be invisible but to have a sense of belonging in its context, he told Dezeen.

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo. A firefighter with the De Soto Rural Fire Protection District is recovering at home after injuring his shoulder while responding to a church fire.
According to the press release, around 6 in the morning, the Cornerstone Baptist Church on 6105 Highway Y caught fire.
During the initial fire suppression operation, a DRFPD firefighter entered the structure and fell through the floor and into the basement of the building. The firefighter was rescued from the building by other firefighters, treated on scene and transported to Mercy South Hospital by the St. Francois County Ambulance District. The

LISBON A Salem man accused of breaking into a Vine Avenue home to commit a burglary crime while the woman was at home is among 42 indictments issued by the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Grand Jury this week. The grand jury heard 45 cases, issuing 32 secret indictments, while they determined not to indict in three cases presented.
The following 15 indictments are open indictments:
Austin A. Angeli, 33, Jefferson Avenue, Salem, is charged with aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony, as well as misdemeanor charges of assault, aggravated menacing and unlawful restraint. On Sept. 28, Angeli allegedly restrained and caused physical harm to Candy Armstrong, while trespassing in a building where she was at in order to commit theft crimes.
