TRU, other universities preparing for return of students to campus in fall

Kang will work with Henry to develop guidelines for a safe return to campus in the fall. I m encouraged by Dr. Henry s advice that a return to in-person instruction can be done safely this fall for all students, staff and faculty. In fact, it s important to do so for people s well-being, Kang said. The plan to return to campus coincides with an accelerated immunization plan from the province, made possible by the approval of more vaccine types. Henry said she expects everyone in the province could receive their first dose by early July. In a statement released to media, TRU president Brett Fairbairn said he was thrilled to see the announcement.
