The Leo Burnett Group Thailand has created a new three spot campaign for the Major Cineplex and Thai Health Promotion Foundation.
The mission of Thai Health Promotion Foundation is to encourage Thai people to live healthier by exercising regularly and reduce smoking and alcohol consumption.
For this campaign, Thai Health Promotion Foundation got complimentary spots from Major Cineplex Cinema to inspire people to turn off their mobile phones while watching movie.
The challenge was to develop a series of cinema ads that can communicate to people to turn off their mobile phones and convey the Thai Health Promotion Foundation’s missions seamlessly.

PHUKET: The Seven Days of Danger road-safety campaign for New Year 2021 is nearly over, and it feels like Phuket has already lost. Not for the number of people being reported as killed or injured, but for what appears to be a plain lack of effort to prevent any accidents at all.

So far officials recognise one death on Phuket’s roads since the campaign began at midnight on Monday night, with 28 more people injured in 28 accidents. These are the figures recognised by the Phuket Provincial office of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM-Phuket).
The Thai Health Promotion Foundation launched “Covidman” to raise road safety awareness. The clever film juxtaposes the seriousness with which Thai’s have responded to the Coronavirus pandemic with their generally lax attitude toward the incredibly high level of traffic fatalities that occur daily across the nation.
The 2-minute spot, created by BBDO Bangkok and directed by the agency’s Creative Chairman, Suthisak Sucharittanonta, is a wild ride through the streets of the Thai capital. Think one part Jason Bourne, one part Austin Powers, toss in a bad guy in a Teletubbies-esque bodysuit and you’re most of the way there.
