Hundreds gathered this past weekend in West Chester to rally for an end to legalized abortion and to “give witness to the sacredness of every human life.”
Sponsored by the Chester County Pro-Life Coalition (CCPLC), the Chester County March for Life on June 25 drew some 500 participants, most of whom first gathered at St. Agnes Church for a liturgy at which Philadelphia Auxiliary Bishop John McIntyre presided, joined by several concelebrants. A concurrent prayer service for Protestant march attendees was also held at a nearby church.

2002: A Norwalk, Conn., Superior Court jury convicts Michael Skakel, nephew of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, in the 1975 murder of Martha Moxley, Skakel’s 15-year-old neighbor, after four days of deliberations. (Skakel s conviction would be vacated in 2018 by the Connecticut Supreme Court, which ruled that his attorney had deprived him of a fair trial by failing to call an alibi witness.)

1892: Homer Plessy, a Creole of color, is arrested for refusing to leave a Whites-only car of the East Louisiana Railroad. (Ruling on his case, the U.S. Supreme Court upholds separate but equal racial segregation, a concept it would renounce in 1954.)
I’m on birth control so I am not worried.
I am just getting fat and it looks like I am pregnant and I stopped BC about 3 days ago because I ran out and my period hasn’t come yet. Usually it is right away after stopping. Haven’t had a period in 3 months though because I skip it with the pills so maybe it is just behind.
Absolutely do not want to be pregnant just surprised by how fast my belly been getting bigger but I suppose I need to lay off the sweets. damn

In the past few weeks, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former House Speaker Paul Ryan have given competing visions for the future of the Republican Party. My money is on DeSantis winning this round, given the hard left turn the Democrats have made on cultural and social issues. Ryan is cautioning the party to shy away from those fights and focus on the economy. It’s almost as if he still doesn’t understand why Trump won.
