It’s not that long since Thanksgiving and Christmas when we were told that we shouldn’t be visiting our relatives that we could be spreading the Wuhan coronavirus and killing grandma if we did so.
Of course, we then heard the stories of the various Democratic politicians who were flouting their own orders to go visit their own families. Do as they say, not as they do, being all the rage.
Turns out that exception apparently extends beyond just visiting their families or heading off to the idyllic isles to party.
Turns out there’s also the “Joe Biden” exception to the rules they impose on us all.

Pope Francis may soon declare that a pro-life French doctor who discovered the genetic basis of Down Syndrome is a saint.
The pope approved Dr. Jerome Lejeune’s “heroic virtues” Thursday, the Associated Press reported, indicating that Lejeune is now considered “venerable” by the Catholic Church.
Before he can be sainted he must be beatified, meaning the Vatican must confirm that a miracle took place through his intercession. The Vatican must then confirm a second miracle occurred through his intercession for him to be sainted.
Born June 13, 1926, in Montrouge, France, Lejeune discovered the existence of an extra chromosome while studying a child’s chromosomes in 1958, according to the Catholic News Agency.

Dr. Peter Daszak described how easy it was to manipulate bat-based coronaviruses in an interview filmed just weeks before the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan.
Daszak has close ties to the Wuhan Institute of Virology and reportedly pushed back against a National Institute of Health request that he arrange an outside inspection of the lab.
Daszak orchestrated a statement at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic that condemned “conspiracy theories” that the virus did not have a natural origin.
Daszak now serves on a World Health Organization panel currently investigating the origins of the pandemic on the ground in China.

A Texas man was convicted for running a website that circulated the detailed sexual abuse of children including infants for more than 20 years, the Department of Justice announced Thursday.
Thomas Alan Arthur, 64, was convicted after a three-day trial by a federal jury for running a website called “Mr. Double” where he has published sexually explicit content involving children since 1996, according to the DOJ. Arthur used the website as his only source of income for over 20 years after he began charging for access to the website in 1998.
“The website was dedicated to publishing writings that detail the sexual abuse of children, including the rape, torture, and murder of infants and toddlers,” according to the DOJ.
