My son sent me this pic and story, I thought it was insane and had a great laugh. After doing some research, I found out it s not a true story. Great one, but not true.
CBS News allegedly tweeted about a Florida man getting arrested for kidnapping over 25 people and “forcing them to play Yahtzee” for 36 hours. It even included a man’s mugshot.
At first glance, it appears to be real. Well, it is indeed fake.
The Daily Caller News Foundation found zero records of CBS News reporting online or on air about this.
The man in the mugshot is actually a man arrested back in March of 2016 for burglarizing a Louisiana church.
Daily Caller reporter Richie McGinniss entered the "green zone" in Washington, D.C., which has been set-up ahead of President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration.
