NORTHWESTERN OPENS NEW CENTER FOR LONG-HAULERS: Northwestern’s Comprehensive COVID-19 Center aims to treat the so-called COVID long-haulers suffering from a range of lingering issues.
The new center, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Streeterville, will be rolled out to the broader health system in the near future.
“We’re just at the beginning of this journey,” said Dr. Charles Davidson, vice chair for clinical affairs at Northwestern’s Department of Medicine. “We developed a research arm of the center to better understand what this disease is, how best to treat it and diagnose it, and also to help
