The Tri-County Crime Stoppers of Minnesota took to Facebook on Monday to warn St. Cloud area residents of an increase in crime activity over the last week.
According to their social media page, there s been a rash of stolen vehicles, mail theft and other stolen items of personal property.
Enter your number to get our free mobile app Over the past week there have been numerous stolen vehicles, stolen mail, thefts of trailers, thefts of tires and rims (off of a vehicle) and stolen tools and other misc items from construction sites and vehicles, writes Tri-County Crime Stoppers.
The page also posted information and photos from a burglary that happened on January 20. According to the post, two male suspects stole tools along with fishing and hunting equipment and supplies.
St. Cloud Police Investigating Shooting That Sent Two to Hospital
ST. CLOUD Police are investigating a shooting that left two people hurt Sunday morning.
Shortly after 5:30 a.m., officers with the St. Cloud Police Department responded to reports of gunshots in the 100 block of 16th Avenue South.
Authorities say when they arrived, they found two men who had been shot. Both victims were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening. Their names have not been released.
Police say they believe the incident is connected to a gathering being held at a nearby home, and that the suspect fled in a vehicle following the shooting.
