[Episcopal News Service] An Episcopal delegation is participating this month in the annual United Nations conference on Indigenous issues, and because the two-week conference is limited mostly to online meetings during the pandemic, this year’s delegation is the church’s largest yet, spanning a wide geographic range.

Brad Hauff, The Episcopal Church’s missioner for Indigenous ministries, and joined by Lynnaia Main, the church’s representative to the United Nations.

Michael Delfín is a versatile performer of historical keyboard instruments and the modern piano. Michael is the recipient of the 2018 Historical Keyboard Society of North America Bechtel/Clinkscale Scholarship and 2017 Catacoustic Consort Early Music Grant. He has performed for the Historical Keyboard Society of North America and the Central California Baroque Festival and has given lectures on historical performance topics for Early Music America, HKSNA, and the Case Western Reserve University Music Department. He is artistic director of Seven Hills Baroque in Cincinnati and has taught figured bass and improvisation at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Michael has attended the American Bach Soloists Academy and the University of Michigan Early Keyboard Institute and performed in masterclasses for Richard Egarr, Joseph Gascho, Corey Jamason, Edward Parmentier, and Pamela Ruiter-Feenstra.

th at 7:30 PM. Ms. Applewhite will address a topic with universal relevance in a world of longer lives: How can we make age bias as unacceptable as any other form of prejudice? The event is free and open to all.

In her view, age bias cuts work lives short, stunts our sense of self and place in the world, and harms our health. There will be two Soap Box Derby events in Marshall County this summer, both officially sanctioned.
A first-year attraction will be the Ohio Valley Super Kids Derby which will take place on May 22 in Moundsville. It is open to special needs youngsters aged 7-16 from Belmont, Marshall, Ohio and Wetzel counties.
A sanctioned derby in its sixth year will be held on June 5 on Fourth Street in Glen Dale.

Super Kids is a National Organization that Governs Soap Box Derby Races for special needs children who will be partnered with an experienced Soap Box Derby driver.
