Bad days continue as new COVID-19 cases remain high, Barron Arts Holiday Train Show runs through Dec. 30 WOODBRIDGE – The township reported 274 new COVID-19 cases over a three-day period, which brings the total number of cases to 4,395, according to Mayor John McCormac in his coronavirus report on Dec. 11. Eighty-five new cases of COVID-19 were reported for Dec. 7, 50 new cases were reported for Dec. 8, 68 new cases were reported for Dec. 9 and 71 new cases were reported for Dec. 10. “After only 11 days in December we have 702 cases,” McCormac said. “To put that in perspective, our two worst months were April at 1,169 [cases] and November at 1,167 [cases] so if we continue at this pace December will break the monthly record after less than three weeks.”

Helen married Theodore (Ted) Mellas on August 31, 1947 in a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony at Trinity Episcopal Church in Potsdam. Her husband Ted preceded her on death in 1986. Also preceding her in death is her only sister, Antoinette (Toni) Avadikian.
