First Female Eagle Scouts From Mid-State; 4 From Boro Feb 01, 2021 at 08:22 pm by WGNS
(NASHVILLE) On Monday evening (2/1/2021) twenty-one young women from Middle Tennessee were recognized from the stage at the Grand Ole Opry House for being among the first females in the nation to reach Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Scouts BSA.
Four of the new Eagles were members of Murfreesboro Troop 2019 at Trinity United Methodist Church. In fact, that group along with Troop 22 in Brentwood tied for first place in having the most Eagle Scouts.
Murfreesboro s BSA Toop 2019 Female Eagle Scouts
Congratulations to the four Eagle Scouts who were inducted from Murfreesboro’s troop:
A friend he was staying with in Wilmington dissuaded him from the notion of taking his show on the road, so to speak. Instead, he did socially distanced concerts for her neighbors several weeks running in her Glen Meade front yard. It was a way to get things out musically, Whitted said. There s a lot of music in him, as Kennedy whom he met in 1997 during a production of Godspell at Cape Fear Regional Theatre can attest. Brian Whitted is a musical genius, Kennedy wrote in a Facebook message. I do not use that term lightly. Pianist. Singer. Arranger. Comedian . He is a beautifully trained musician and can play anything, from Rachmaninoff to Stevie Wonder to Sondheim.

IDAHO FALLS – When 27-year-old Logan Pickens first walked into Trinity United Methodist Church in Idaho Falls a year ago, he was at rock bottom.
He was nearly homeless and battling a drug addiction. One of his coworkers had introduced him to weed several years prior. He then became hooked on other drugs, including meth. He quit for a brief period of time but later started using again after several failed relationships, including a divorce from his wife after just six months of marriage.

The first tier of Phase 1B includes people who are 70 or older as well as people over 50 who live in multigenerational households.
Although the state has not officially moved on to Phase 1B yet, the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe says high-risk health care workers and first responders in Phase 1A have already been vaccinated. The Washington State Department of Health said Wednesday that Phase 1B vaccinations will be on an accelerated timeline and should begin in the coming days.
